Many thanks yet again for accepting to be on the GMJ International Advisory Board. You are in the company of many renowned and courageous personalities around the world like Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Laureate Mairead McGuire, Greenpeace's Lalita Ramdas, Dr Mahmoud Barghouti, Archbishop of Palestine Atallah Hanna and of course, YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir, all signing to show their condemnation of Israel's ethnic cleansing of Jerusalem and its attempt to drive out Christian and Muslim Palestinians there from.
I thought I would update you on some of the activities which Malaysia GMJ (MyGMJ) has undertaken to mainstream the cause of Jerusalem. As alluded to earlier, myGMJ is cognisant of your terribly busy work schedule and does not require your presence at any of our functions. It was enough for us that you consented to be Malaysia’s representative on the IAB of GMJ. It speaks volumes about your commitment to upholding the dignity and rights of the Palestinians, and preserving the sanctity of Jerusalem and the Holy Places.

We would like to share with you the publicity on an event held last Sunday, 18 Jan 2012, "Flash Mob on GMJ" at our capital, Kuala Lumpur. It is probably best to display this with the coverage we got on the print and electronic media.
Enclosed are also some paper clippings from the local nationwide dailies, Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia and our Press Release.
All in all, it has been a good publicity for the run-up to the 30th March GMJ. The 120+ university students - cutting across different race and religions - gave an outstanding flash mob performance. We’d rather use the term mini outdoor theatre to remove the “unruly” connotations of a mobJ
